1. Who we are

Trendshopy is a trading name of Hostvento LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States. Hostvento LLC is the controller of the personal information described in this Privacy Policy, which means we decide how and why it is used. This policy applies to trendshopy.us and to orders, messages and emails handled through it.

For privacy requests, email us with "Privacy request" in the subject line.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact details: name, email address and phone number.
• Delivery details: shipping address and any delivery notes.
• Order details: the products you order, quantities, prices and order history.
• Messages: the content of emails, contact-form messages and calls with our support team.
• Newsletter: your email address if you subscribe.

Payment information

Payments are handled by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe's secure pages, and we never receive or store full card numbers or security codes. Stripe shares limited information with us, such as the card brand, last four digits, country and payment status, so we can match payments to orders and process refunds.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting provider records standard technical information in server logs, such as IP address, browser type, device, pages requested and the date and time of the visit. This is used for security, troubleshooting and preventing abuse.

Information stored in your browser

Your shopping bag is saved in your browser's local storage so it is still there when you come back. This stays on your device, is not sent to us until you place an order, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings. The Site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and product images from Unsplash, which receive your IP address when your browser requests those files.

3. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not use it for automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only what they need:

• Stripe, to process payments and refunds and to screen for fraud.
• Shipping carriers and fulfilment partners, to pack and deliver your order. They receive your name, address, phone number and order contents.
• Our hosting and email providers, to run the Site and send and receive email.
• Professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, where needed.
• Authorities, where required by law, or to protect our rights, customers or others from fraud or harm.

If our business is sold or reorganised, customer information may transfer to the new owner, who will be bound by this policy.

5. International transfers

We are based in the United States and ship worldwide, so your information is processed in the United States and in the countries where our service providers and carriers operate. Where we transfer personal information from the UK, EEA or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or our providers' participation in recognised data-transfer frameworks.

6. How long we keep it

• Order and payment records: up to 7 years, for tax, accounting and legal purposes.
• Support messages: up to 3 years after the matter is closed.
• Newsletter address: until you unsubscribe, after which we keep a suppression record so we do not email you again.
• Server logs: usually no more than 90 days.

When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
• correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law;
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• receive your information in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, for example by unsubscribing from emails;
• complain to your local data protection authority.

California residents have the right to know, delete and correct personal information, the right to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Residents of other US states with privacy laws have similar rights.

To make a request, email support@trendshopy.us with "Privacy request" in the subject. We may ask you to verify your identity, and we respond within 30 days, or within the period required by your local law. You may use an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf.

8. Marketing emails

We only send newsletters if you subscribe. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us to be removed. Order-related emails, such as confirmations, payment links and dispatch notices, are still sent while you have an order with us.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption across the Site, restricted access to customer records, and payment processing through PCI DSS Level 1 certified Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you and the authorities where required by law.

10. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed. If we make significant changes, we will highlight them on the Site or tell you by email.
